Exporting Slideshows and Interactive Online Tests

The feature described below is available by subscription. It can be tried out for free in the Play Area.

You can export any Problem-Attic document as an online test, as a slideshow for your web browser, as a downloadable slideshow in a format supported by your PC or whiteboard, or as a zip file formatted for Learning Management Systems such as Schoology or Canvas. The scoring for interactive tests can be tracked by clicking the “Score” tab. Links for Google Classroom are also available in this section. Read more about Google Classroom here.

Exporting an Online Test

To export a document as an online test, follow the steps below.

  1. Under Create, click Export.

  2. Select the document you wish to export from the Document Toolbar, if it is not already open.

  3. Use Options to adjust the displayed title, class information, date, labels style, and the splash page Background style.

    Note: The displayed title can be different from the document’s file name.

  4. Under Web-hosted document, check the box labeled “Interactive (students will enter or click answers)”.

  5. Choose either the “One problem per page” or “Continuous document” layout for the test.

  6. Click the link to open the test in a separate window.

    Notes:

    • This link is also available on the “Score” tab, by clicking the “links” button.
    • With the “Interactive” option selected, students can answer the document questions, and submit these answers to Problem-Attic. Their answers will be stored on the Score tab.

Exporting a Slideshow

Documents can also be exported as a slideshow, by following the steps below.

  1. Under Create, click Export.

  2. Select the document you wish to export from the Document Toolbar, if it is not already open.

  3. Use Options to adjust the displayed title, class information, date, labels style, and the splash page Background style.

    Note: The displayed title can be different from the document’s file name.

  4. Under Downloadable file, click Slideshow Format to open the dropdown menu. Choose the slideshow format you prefer.

  5. Click Download.
